How to schedule social media posts in AutoPoster

Scheduling turns approved content into a time-bound publication plan. In AutoPoster, use the schedule after the caption, media, language and destination have been reviewed. A scheduled time is not a guarantee that an external network will accept or publish the item, so publication state should still be monitored.

Start with a cadence the business can support. Leave enough time for corrections and avoid scheduling sensitive or time-dependent material so far ahead that its facts may change unnoticed.

Step 1

Open the approved content item

Use the authenticated AutoPoster workspace to open the item that is ready for scheduling. Confirm that you are looking at the final reviewed version rather than an earlier draft.

Step 2

Select the destination

Choose the intended connected social account. Recheck the network, page or profile name. When a team manages several brands, the destination check is a required approval step, not a formality.

Step 3

Choose date, time and time zone

Set a publication time that matches the plan and confirm the time zone. Consider whether someone will be available to monitor the result or respond after publication. Do not infer a universal best time from a generic recommendation.

Step 4

Perform the final pre-schedule review

Read the complete post once more in context. Check facts, spelling, language, links, media rights and any network-specific requirements. If a detail cannot be verified, return the item to review instead of scheduling it.

  • □ Correct content version
  • □ Correct account
  • □ Correct language
  • □ Correct time zone
  • □ Current facts and links
  • □ Appropriate media

Step 5

Save the schedule and verify visibility

Save the planned time, then confirm that the item appears in the relevant schedule or job view with the expected destination and time. A missing item should be investigated before creating a duplicate.

Step 6

Monitor publication state

After the scheduled time, review the state shown by AutoPoster and, when necessary, the destination network. Pending, denied or failed states should not be counted as published content or as zero engagement. Follow the displayed error or reconnection path.

Step 7

Record what should improve

For published items, review only the metrics that are actually available from the network. Also note operational issues such as late review, unclear briefs or destination confusion. These observations can improve the next calendar cycle.

Troubleshooting

The item does not appear in the schedule
Confirm that the save action completed, refresh once and search for the same content before creating another job.
The displayed time is unexpected
Check the configured time zone and compare it with the intended audience time. Correct the schedule before publication.
Publication is pending or failed
Treat the state as unresolved. Check the provider response, account authorization and media requirements; do not report it as published until confirmed.

Build a repeatable content workflow

Start with accurate business context, prepare a focused brief and keep human review before scheduling. AutoPoster organizes the work; your business keeps the publishing decision.
